A beautiful antique ceramic serving platter featuring the Asiatic Pheasants pattern. This light blue pattern depicts floral motifs, butterflies and pheasants in flight. This particular pattern was produced by many Staffordshire potteries during the Victorian period. This particular piece is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. Because the pattern was produced by many different manufacturers, specific makers marks are often absent. Platters in this style typically date from the mid-to-late 19th century, roughly between 1820 and 1880. A delightful piece of pottery.
Size: Length 34cm x Width 28cm approx. Condition: Good, no chips or cracks. Slight ware on the glaze, as you would expect for its age.
