This heavy ceramic jug is perfect just as it is, or for displaying your favourite flowers. Glazed on the inside and unglazed on the outside giving a matt appearance, this really is a lovely and dramatic piece of pottery. There is a makers mark on the bottom, although some letters are missing, so hard to determine the actual maker. There is also a mark at the bottom of the jug which we have shown in the photographs, and this was probably made when first fired and looks like the side of thumb imprint. Either way this does not distract from this incredible piece of pottery, and just adds to its authenticity.
